Book Designs

While searching the interwebs for inspiration on DVD packaging, I found it decreasingly helpful looking at actual DVD covers. Tad had mentioned how book cover design and DVD package design was similar so I searched around at book covers. Here's some links with some really nice designs:

I also was able to visit Borders this weekend and it was actually really refreshing and interesting looking at all the different book designs. It annoyed my friend, but for me it was quite helpful to see so many variations and the difference between simple and complex and how professional designers are pulling it all off. If you haven't yet gone to a book store and find yourself stuck a little, I definitely recommend it.
